We are looking for a Technical Inspector Mechanical to plan and supervise vessel repairs, maintenance and upgrades while keeping assets compliant, reliable and on budget/schedule.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Organise and control repair & maintenance (R&M) for assigned vessels in close coordination with Technical Superintendents.
- Manage dockings, project modifications and investment projects, including planning, scope, cost and risk control.
- Ensure compliance with flag state, class and IMO requirements; liaise with surveyors and authorities as needed.
- Keep technical documentation, history, and asset registers accurate and up to date.
- Drive continuous improvement and propose sustainable technologies, preparing clear investment proposals.
- Provide daily technical management support to vessels and coordinate with crew, yards and vendors.
Vereisten Technical Inspector Mechanical
- Bachelor's/Master's in Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (offshore, dredging, construction or shipbuilding).
- Working knowledge of classification rules, flag state and IMO regulations.
- Strong planning/budgeting and stakeholder coordination skills, and a hands-on mindset.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel offshore ~20%.
