Do you have experience coordinating inspections across vendors, suppliers, and third-party inspectors in oil & gas projects? Can you combine QA/Qc knowledge with supply chain, vendor, and project execution processes?

We are looking for an Inspection Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and monitor inspection activities across project supply chains, ensuring equipment, materials, and vendor processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans and schedules in line with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate inspection activities with internal project teams, suppliers, contractors, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor vendor and supplier inspection processes to ensure compliance with project standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate inspection documentation, including inspection reports, certificates, quality records, and non-conformance reports.
- Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformances, quality issues, and inspection findings until resolution.
- Provide regular updates to project management, QA/QC teams, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders on inspection status and key findings.
- Support compliance monitoring across inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring activities.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure inspection requirements are clearly understood and properly executed.
- Work closely with procurement, expediting, package management, and quality teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection processes, quality control plans, and vendor performance follow-up.
Requirements Inspection Coordinator
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in inspection, quality assurance, or quality control are considered and advantage.
- Proven experience in inspection coordination, vendor inspection, or quality assurance within oil & gas project environments.
- Experience with project supply chain processes, vendor coordination, purchasing processes, expediting, or package management.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, quality control plans, and inspection procedures.
- Experience coordinating with third-party inspectors, suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal project stakeholders.
- Good understanding of inspection, testing, commissioning, monitoring, and non-conformance management.
- Proficiency in inspection management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple inspection activities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and external parties.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to identify, document, and support the resolution of quality issues.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
