Junior Transport Coordinator

We are looking for a Junior Transport Coordinator who can support the planning and coordination of international transport for complex technical equipment, ensuring timely and compliant delivery to project sites.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of Transport Service Orders (TSO) and contribute to logistics planning in early procurement phases.
• Coordinate international shipments via sea, air, and road, including heavy lift and oversized cargo.
• Act as a link between procurement, suppliers, and logistics service providers (LSPs).
• Monitor transport schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
• Maintain daily communication with suppliers and LSPs to track progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms 2020 and internal QHSES standards.
• Manage and check shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading, export docs).
• Track logistics costs and support invoice validation within ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Identify potential delays or risks and proactively escalate where needed.

• Bachelor's degree (HBO/BSc) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
• Around 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain.
• Experience with international freight (sea/air/road); heavy lift is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and transport documentation.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Comfortable working in a project-driven, international environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus!
• Fluent in English; Dutch is and advantage.
