Do you have experience leading the commissioning of new E&I systems while guiding crews and vendors? Can you keep complex E&I systems compliant, reliable, and online?

We are looking for a Marine E&I Inspector to own the electrical & instrumentation scope across a modern offshore fleet while planning, supervising, and certifying maintenance, upgrades, and compliance to keep assets safe, efficient, and mission-ready.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Support vessel management teams with day-to-day technical management of E&I systems; liaise with crews and coordinate multi-discipline inputs.
- Define E&I scope for repairs & modifications (E&M); prepare proposals, schedules, and budgets, and secure approvals.
- Plan, arrange, and supervise third-party service visits; oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of new or modified E&I equipment.
- Ensure compliance with flag-state, class, IMO, and DP requirements; prepare, plan, and witness annual/periodic DP trials.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, histories, and asset registers; drive reliability, sustainability, and efficiency improvements (e.g., hybridisation initiatives).
Requirements Marine E&I Inspector
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of E&I experience in offshore, dredging, construction, or shipbuilding environments.
- Strong familiarity with maritime rules and regulations (classification socieities, flag state, IMO); DP exposure is a plus.
- Proven track record supervising installation/commissioning and coordinating third-party service providers.
- Organised, hands-on communicator, able to work across vessels, sites and shore teams. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
