We are looking for a Process Safety Engineer to identify, assess, and mitigate process risks by implementing safety management systems and ensuring safe, compliant operations across complex engineering projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of hazard and risk management processes across projects and operations.
- Conduct and facilitate risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, and other PHA methodologies.
- Guide process safety best practices, including inherently safer design and barrier-based risk management.
- Analyse process hazards and evaluate safety systems to ensure risk mitigation and operational integrity.
- Track and manage actions from safety studies and risk assessments to ensure timely closure.
- Support audits and inspections by internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to Safety & Environmentally Critical Element (SECE) assurance activities.
- Promote a strong process safety culture across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements Process Safety Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in process safety, technical safety, or risk engineering within oil & gas or EPC environments.
- Strong experience with HAZOP, HAZID, Bowtie, and other risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of hazard and effects management and operational risk management frameworks.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance, and regulatory inspections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on risk prevention and continuous improvement.
