We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer to design, specify, and deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical equipment solutions for complex oil & gas projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical equipment scope across concept, FEED, detailed design, and project execution phases.
- Select and optimise engineering methods, procedures, and technical solutions in compliance with international codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, calculations, requisitions, and technical documentation.
- Manage mechanical equipment packages, including supplier selection, technical bid evaluations, and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate interfaces with Process, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Project teams.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within agreed schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Support fabrication, inspections, manufacturing follow-up, FAT activities, and commissioning when required.
- Review and resolve technical queries, deviations, and non-conformances throughout project execution.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to improvements in reliability, operability, safety, and design standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and, when required, act as Package Engineer or Discipline Lead for assigned scopes.
Requirements Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5—10 years of experience in mechanical equipment engineering within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong experience with mechanical equipment packages across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and project execution phases.
- Good knowledge of international codes, industry standards, and regulations relevant to mechanical equipment design and delivery.
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical specifications, datasheets, calculations, requisitions, and vendor documentation.
- Experience with vendor coordination, technical bid evaluations, package management, and supplier follow-up.
- Ability to manage technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of contractual requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and internal engineering procedures.
- Able to plan, prioritise, and deliver engineering activities within agreed schedules and budgets.
- Experience supporting fabrication, inspection, FAT, commissioning, or manufacturing follow-up is considered an advantage.
- Capable of resolving technical queries, deviations, and non-conformances during project execution.
- Leadership experience or the ability to guide junior engineers, with potential to act as Package Engineer to Discipline Lead.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
