Senior Production Engineer (Non-operating)

We are looking for a Senior Production Engineer (Non-operating) who can provide technical expertise to optimise deepwater production operations, well performance, and field development throughout the lifecycle of offshore assets.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Advise multidisciplinary asset teams on well start-up, ramp-up, gas-lift operations, flow assurance, and well-intervention activities.
- Develop and maintain wellbore and surface network models to support field development, production forecasting, and operational decision-making.
- Review production strategies, operational procedures, and mitigation plans for hydrate, scale, corrosion, and emulsion management.
- Support production start-up, surveillance, well optimisation, and workover programs throughout offshore development projects.
- Perform production engineering analyses, including NODAL analysis, well testing, and production optimisation.
- Provide technical guidance on flow assurance, subsurface integrity, and production performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
- Ensure all production activities comply with HSE standards and industry best practices.
Senior Production Engineer (Non-operating)
- Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in deepwater production engineering.
- Strong experience with production modelling software, including:
- IPM
- GAP
- PROSPER
- PIPESIM
- Integrated production modelling
- Wellbore/surface network modelling
- Extensive expertise in:
- Production optimisation
- Well start-up and ramp-up
- Gas lift operations
- Well interventions
- Production surveillance
- Strong knowledge of flow assurance, including:
- Hydrate management
- Scale inhibition
- Corrosion inhibition
- Emulsion management
- Chemical treatment strategies
- Experience supporting offshore field development projects, including start-up, commissioning, and operational execution.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- NODAL analysis
- Well testing
- Formation damage
- Subsurface integrity planning
- Well optimisation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong commitment to safe, efficient, and HSE-compliant production operations.
