We regularly seek Construction Managers who can be responsible for managing day-to-day activities on the construction site. As Construction Manager, you will take into account the requirements in the specifications as laid down in the contract, the planning, the budget, and the QHSE policy. Completion of the construction project must result in the delivery to the customer, with the structure meeting the contractual requirements.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Advise during the design phase on possibilities to optimize the construction and execution of complex investment projects.
• Lead the implementation phase of projects.
• Create implementation plans to achieve synergy between design and implementation.
• Monitoring and ensuring schedule performance and quality workmanship are carried out in adherence to safety, quality, schedules and budgets, cost-effectiveness and control, and results.
• Ensure agreement between stakeholders regarding the construction phase of the project.
• Proactive management of safety/quality/change/risk in the working environment.
• Coordinate and organize work permits.
• Manage the construction team in collaboration with Construction and HSE Supervisors to jointly realise and deliver the project following agreements and requirements on quality, safety, and budget.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical-, Electrical- or Civil Engineering.
• Work experience as Construction Manager within multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language - both verbally and in writing.
• Prior experience in working at a Chemical plant, (Petro-) Chemical and Process industry is a plus!
• Competences: leadership skills, service-, solution- and result oriented, planning and organising skills.
