Project Engineer

For one of our clients, a leading integrated solution provider specialising in the EPCIC of diverse offshore projects, we are looking for a Project Engineer.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the project manager, to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing progress updates, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Provide subcontractors with the scope of work, monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical background.
• Experience in the construction of offshore platforms or similar heavy industry projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
