For one of our clients, a global engineering and technology company, we are looking for a Construction Engineer. You will be assigned to a project to participate in construction-related activities.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Participate in construction-related activities during project execution and proposal preparation.
• Analyse tender/project documentation, focusing on method selection, planning, cost calculation, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and submit tender proposals to construction subcontractors.
• Program the works and draft installation sequence drawings.
• Plan construction activities and create a detailed timeline for execution.
• Manage project budgets and resources for efficient allocation and utilisation.
• Prepare and issue construction documents and relevant materials, such as studies, plans, layouts, specifications, method statements, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout construction activities.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess ongoing construction activities, address issues, and track project progress.
• Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, partners, and supporting departments to facilitate communication and cooperation.
• Interface with senior resources and colleagues from various departments and operating centres for synchronised project execution.
• Oversee and manage construction activities of energy projects, from the initial proposal stage to successful project completion.

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical.
• Previous on-site experience in a supervisory role, preferably in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
• Must be willing to relocate internationally for long-term assignments at various job sites.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel, preferably Access, Project, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D-viewers is a plus!
